Have you been eyeing Bose’s awesome Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 but don’t want to settle for the drab black or gray colors? Well, you’re in luck. The company has just released a new color called Soapstone, which brings more life to the popular over-ear wireless headphones. The colorway consists of a two-tone combination of white and copper. While it has already been launched in select markets, it’s only now we’re seeing wider availability across the globe.

New Tones and a Proven Formula

Bose didn’t add anything to the cans in terms of functionality, but it does hold all the features that have made the headphones such a popular product for the brand. It starts off with the a four-microphone array that picks up your voice during calls or when talking to your virtual assistant. You have two to choose from — Google Assistant or Alexa — which you can access with a press of a button on the right earcup. The earpads themselves are made of synthetic protein leather for comfortable listening all day. As for the headband, it’s of the stainless-steel kind and it’s aided by ultra-soft foam for added comfort. As alluded to earlier, these headphones come with 11 levels of adjustable noise cancellation as well as a Conversation Mode in case you need to amplify the voice of the person you’re talking to. Fortunately, Bose added touch controls on the right earcup so you don’t have to rely on a separate smart device to input all your commands.

Standing Out from the Competition

But what really makes this product stand out is a feature called Bose AR. It detects head orientation and body movement while wearing the headphones. The Bose Music app then uses location tracking through your smartphone to tailor-fit the listening experience to your area and actions in real-time. The app is available on both Android and iOS devices. The rest of the specifications are what you’d expect from quality headphones at this price range. It comes with Bluetooth 5.0 (using codecs SBC and AAC), USB-C connectivity for charging, and a wireless battery life of up to 20 hours per full charge. Those interested in this limited edition color won’t have to spend extra. The Soapstone color retails for the same price of $349 (originally $399 at launch).
